Hey! I'm Heather. I'm currently completing my Intuitive Eating Counsellor certification and studying for my American College of Spots Medicine Personal Trainer exam. While I'm in "certification land," I thought I'd create a walking club in my neighbourhood!
If you like, I can provide gentle accountability, such as checking in with you weekly to see if you'll be joining us. This is completely optional, but some folks find that gentle accountability is helpful!

We meet in or around Sorauren Park. Sometimes we walk through the park, sometimes we walk through the neighbourhood.
We walk rain or shine! And we even walk in snow! If the weather is truly terrible, we'll let you know that the walk is cancelled by email.
Yes, and the one-time membership fee that you pay helps cover the cost of insurance for the Sorauren Walking Club.
Yes! We walk, and talk, and enjoy each other's company. We can accommodate all walking speeds. I also run an optional body weight-based strengthening session about 15 minutes in for anyone interested.
I'm eager to add more sessions! If Tuesdays at 12 pm doesn't work for you, contact me and let me know what time you prefer, and I'll try to make it happen!
Running is cool too! If you'd like to run with others, I recommend checking out the Parkdale Roadrunners. They run Tuesdays at 7 pm.
